Note that this process will not necessarily remove all leftover traces of a program, but it should be sufficient to disable it completely. This should get you through the uninstallation. In DR, this is used to enable the use of foot pedals with USB cameras, or to reassign the buttons on intraoral cameras to trigger the 'Capture Image' keyboard shortcut in MacPractice. When enabled, you can navigate all dialogs with Tab or Shift - Tab, selecting elements with Space. USB Overdrive is a third-party shareware application for Mac that allows you to customize how various USB inputs are handled. You can find the Location of the extension in the bottom pane of the System Profiler window. You will need to press the appropriate keyboard shortcut, e.g. Look for one that relates to USB Overdrive, and if it is there, click it. In the list that appears on the left, scroll down and click Software > Extensions. The easiest way to do so is hold option when choosing the Apple menu, then picking System Information…, which should be the top item. Kernel Extensions: Kernel Extensions ( KEXTs) can reside anywhere on your system. Don't be surprised if you do not have an Agents/Daemons folder they are created when needed and thus may not even be present. Login Items: Open System Preferences and click Users & Groups, then click the Login Items tab for your account. Check for all of these things, and you should get the problem sorted out.
